We are working towards getting back to ‘normal’, whatever that may be.  While we would love to help your learn the game, we will have lessons on hold until it is safe to begin teaching again.  We look forward to resuming our services as soon as possible.

Cory LaJeunesse

Head Golf Professional, PGA of Canada Professional

Cory has literally grown up in the golf industry, having worked on a family-owned golf course in Marathon, Ontario for several years while pursuing the Professional Golf Management program at Georgian College. Throughout his career, Cory was employed with Mad River Golf Club in Creemore, Islington Golf Club in Etobicoke and Seven Lakes Golf Course in Windsor as an Assistant Golf Professional with the Canadian PGA. In 2007, he was recruited by Essex Golf & Country Club in Windsor.

An active leader of junior golf programs, Cory is an enthusiastic team player and dedicated member of the Canadian PGA. Cory has been recognized with the Investors Group Volunteer Sport Administrator Award and the Hospitality Hero Award, presented by the Windsor-Essex County and Pelee Island Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Cory is truly someone who loves the game and industry of golf. He looks forward to his leadership role at Sutton Creek as the Head Professional. If you are interested in lessons during the winter months, please contact Cory at cory@suttoncreekgolf.com.

Jeff Collingridge

Director of Golf, PGA of Canada Professional

Jeff hails from Fort Erie, Ontario, another active border community. As a competitive athlete, Jeff ended up pursuing several sports as an amateur, but took golf to the next level, earning his professional card with the Canadian PGA in 1997. He began his professional career in the Niagara region, working at the International Country Club of Niagara and then entered the Professional Golf Management program at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario.  From there, Jeff worked as an Assistant Professional at Hunters Pointe Golf Club in Welland, Ontario and then the Cherry Hill Club in Ridgeway, Ontario. His first position as head professional came at Rio Vista Golf Club, where he grew up learning the game as a junior.

A natural leader, Jeff was recruited to be part of Sutton Creek for his management skills and significant experience with improving golf club operations. He is also a Class A Member of the Canadian PGA and continues to be involved with the teaching and playing aspects of professional golf. An energetic individual, Jeff welcomes the opportunity to assist the new leadership at Sutton Creek.
