Membership Information

Established in 1988, Sutton Creek Golf & Country Club has gained its reputation, both locally and across Ontario, as one of the premier private golf clubs for its fantastic layout, great course conditions and affordable membership costs. This year, Sutton Creek will once again be in the spotlight when it hosts GAO’s Ontario Men’s Amateur Championship in July.

Located in the heart of Essex County, just 20 minutes from Windsor, Sutton Creek offers the golfer the ultimate golfing experience. The 156 acre championship layout features 18 challenging holes, more than 50 Ohio white sand bunkers and nine ponds. Golf membership includes unlimited golf, unlimited use of the practice range, account signing privileges, golf association membership, handicapping and complimentary pull carts.

Sutton Creek’s affordable membership pricing is less than half charged by other local private clubs. It also has a No Assessment policy. What makes Sutton Creek truly unique is that members are never assessed for club improvements, keeping club memberships within the price range of many golfers. Affordable payment plans are available.

Memberships can now be acquired through the purchase of RRSP eligible "shares" of the corporation. It is a way for a person to become a primary member, using new or existing RRSP monies. Existing RRSP must be self directed funds. These "Shares" should not be mistaken as equity shares.

A limited number of members and affordable family plans promise a truly social experience providing an excellent choice of playing times, reasonable pace of play and a friendly atmosphere.

Sutton Creek Golf & Country Club on Gesto Road in Essex has announced it’s conversion to a fully private, members only play, golf facility. It joins the ranks of the other three local private clubs – Essex Golf & County Club, Beach Grove and Pointe West. The club has recently undergone extensive renovations to the course and clubhouse. Completely rebuilt sand traps including the conversion to Ohio White Sand plus the complete rebuilding of the clubhouse exterior, adds to the clubs appeal.

All playing privileges based on available tee times. Week-ends also include holidays. Minimum Billing The minimum food and beverage billing is $60.00 per month from April 01 to October 31 for Primary Members Only. Yearly Locker Room Fee Yearly locker fee $35.00  plus g.s.t. not included in above fees.    Juniors & Intermediates Sponsored Juniors or Intermediates must be sons or daughters of primary member, please note that nieces and nephews do not qualify.
